      Registration Need to Know

Tuggerah Lakes Mingara Little Athletics Centre inc.

Established 1982

All athletes competing in the Tuggerah Lakes Mingara Little Athletics Centre competition must be registered with Little Athletics N.S.W


Our centre also registers athletes in the Tiny Tots age group. 

If your child is  turning 5 years old in the Athletic Season they will be able to enrol in this group at our centre.

 

The total number of Tiny Tots we register is determined by the number of qualified " Official " parents we have to coordinate the group at the start of the season.

: End of Season Trophies and Merit Awards
: Centre Record Breaker Certificates and Medals
: Mingara Recreation Club - Athletics Track ...Season Entry Pass
: Central Coast Little Athletics …. Zone Levy
: Representative Shirts, Jackets, Bags ( where funds are available )
: Coaching by T.L.M.L.A Centre Coaches
: Training costs ( where practicable ) for Parent helpers and Officials
: Some Costs for Replacement of Equipment, Training Aids and Administration Requirements

 


AGE GROUPS 


The age of all children is calculated as at midnight on the 30th of September in the current season.

The Age the athlete turns during the athletic year determines the age group in which the athlete will be competing.

The Athletic year commences 1st October and Ends 30th September.

Our Centre Athletics Championships commences mid to late September and ends late March the following year.


PROOF OF AGE


Proof of age must be presented to the registrar at the time of registration if you are not a returning athlete from the previous year.


The only acceptable proof of age is .

: Birth Certificate
: Extract of Birth Certificate
: Notice of Birth Registration
: Current Passport
: Baptism Certificate
: Hospital Blue Book


NOTE  :   

We do not need copies of these documents but need to sight an original before we can register a child.



LOST NUMBERS


An athlete who looses his or her registration number may apply to the registrar who will obtain a new number on payment of a replacement number fee. The athlete will then compete wearing the new number. Lost numbers cannot be replaced with the same number.


REFUNDS


It is the policy of this centre NOT TO REFUND any part of the registration fee

if a member no longer wishes to continue, for whatever reason.

For this reason, all new athletes are encouraged to try out Little Athletics by attending coaching sessions during weekdays

    

THERE IS NO ONGOING WEEKLY COMPETITION FEE REQUIRED 
IN LITTLE ATHLETICS 


The Registration Fee is revised every season by the Executive Committee and is usually determined late July
